2: Show me the money!

see, a second post! this blog is going places!

I quit my job, it's ace. I don't wanna talk about work coz it's a whole kettle of fish that will make my fingers tired from ranting about it, and I've already got one rant in store for this blog, dammit!

So now that I've quit my job I've got lots of free time to buy stuff and organize it, joy. I have got a place in halls, I'm just waiting to hear back which ones I'm in so I know if I need to phone them and tell them I need to move in on a different day to the one I've been allocated, totally exiting yeah? No, I didn't think so either. I've bought everything off the list from uni, mostly coz I'm pretty sure I'll need it. I've also got everything thing I'll need to be able to cook and that in halls, which was actually quite fun, what with me enjoying buying home stuff, loving a bargin, but never usually getting to buy stuff for a home. I love Wilkinsons, it's cheap as you like, but still you don't feel quite as scummy buying a load of stuff in there as you do being in poundland (surprisingly, I love the 99p store, and don't feel at all scuzzy shopping in there, but poundland is just plain nasty... mad). I hope they have Wilkinsons in Wales, what's all i'm saying. If I can fine a Wilkinsons, a Netto (welsh lidl) and a good pub I'll be more than happy.

Enough about that, I promiced a rant and so you shall recive!

EUUAAAARRGGGHHHHH!!! COCKINGBASTARDMERCHPEOPLE! Do you not think women have TITS, or indeed EXIST over a size 14! JESUS! AM I TOO FAT FOR ROCK MUSIC! GRR! I feel I should explain... I belong to the group of women that can be described as 'naturally curvatious', 'busty' or indeed 'buxom'. Fat like how Nigella Lawson is fat, that's me (that's my excuse anyway, it's ok to like food dammit). I've no problem with larger ladies who are just larger because they like to eat or whatever, as long as you're not so fat it's bad for your health it's ok. I also am a big lover of music, and I like to show my admiration for certain musicians buy wearing a T-Shirt with their name enblazened on it, I LIKE being a walking billbord, there, I said it. HOWEVER, one flaw in my plans to shamelessly promote the musicians that I like... the people who make these clothes go for skinny chicks, or ones that don't have big boobs.

I am NOT hugely fat, I'm quite comfortable with my size, and it's pretty easy to get clothes that fit me on the highstreet, I don't need to shop in special fat bird shops, SO WHY THE HELL MUST I BUY AN EXTRA COCKING LARGE T-SHIRT WHEN IT'S MERCH!?! and that's if you can GET an xl one. I don't even mind buying an xl that much, but you can NEVER get them. Exaple from just now, I want to get my mitts on a Dan le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip T-Shirt, the large size for ladies has a chest size of 38in, the only way I could get in to that is if you removed my tits all together. What's worse is that I would only JUST get in the the MENS large size. It's not just Le Sac vs Pip either, this is pretty much the case whenever I try to buy merch clothing. I KNOW that girls the same kinda size as me like this kind of music, I see them at shows, THEY EXIST.

The average dress size in the UK is 16 (don't quote me on that, I didn't even google it to check it's definately true), which is what I am, so these record company people or merch people or whoever are only selling to BELOW AVERAGE sized girls. I'm not having a go at thin people, be thin, it's fine, I'm not saying that the average size being a 16 is representative of a healthy socity, I just think that the people who make this stuff are missing out on a HUGE part of their demographic and potential sales! That and I want to be able to get my tits in to a top that fits me, rather than it being too small and so streched you've no idea who it is that I'm listening to anyway. It's undoubtidly men who run these companies, and I'm sure they love big tits as much as I do, so stop making people like me feel all un-natural and wrong and TAKE MY MONEY OFF ME!

You'd never think people would make it so hard for you to buy something really over-priced...
