Awesome sandwich, I will admit, looks pretty minging. it's Fried Egg and Mushroom. I've spent all day on the xbox, mostly Fable II, and a bit of Beautiful Katamari.

eeeehehehehehe. aww yeahh.

Also bought some new house trousers because my shorts are WAY too big now, and they're niiiiiice, love them. Bought some wine glasses and a granite chopping board (9.99!). Woke up stupidly early coz I want with Sven to get his new tattoo. He didn't tell me it was at 9am til the night before and it was too late by then, so I've done quite a lot, this has included moving the fridge and doing the washing up!

This is how well tidying went today...
I did make some truffles though, kind of, the mix is still in Sven's fridge, i'll finish them tomorrow if he's not done it already. Probably wise though, I would have eaten them all in one go.




You may have noticed that I live a hermit-like existence. I like it for the most part, but I am looking forward to people coming back to Swansea in September.

This view taunts me out of my window! A car I can't afford that's for sale (onlt £500!), and tasty foods that are bad for me and that I can't really afford.

Day 30

THIRTY DAYS! mad skillz. I was planning to take my camera to work and take some photographs of Saturday night Wind st for you, but I forgot my camera, and now I can't be ballsed.

I cant really be bothered to do anything, it's a mess here, bit I DID clean the toilet. I'm quite pleased with it.

Winona update: she's taken to cleaning out her own cage (noisily when I'm trying to sleep) by shoving wood-chippings that are not clean enough for her up the tube that goes outside her cage....

Day 27

MUTANT EGG! I made egg mayo with mutant egg and the other, more normal eggs. Mutant egg exploded a bit in boiling. Egg mayo was tasty.

I did do something more exciting today, I went to see Emz, YAY! I think I was a bit too excited to take a photo. yes, that's what it was. :D

Day 28


Came back to Swansea today, let Winona on the lawn, she got confused. Also, just now she escaped TWICE from her cage earlier, both times she just wandered around looking very confused, and looked quite pleased to be ushered in to her ball. bless. I hate commuters.

Day 26

Today I went in town with mum, did some shopping, had some dinner, then went to see Harry Potter!

I'd say read the book, before you see it, I hadn't and as such wasn't entirely sure what was going on in parts of it. From what I've heard the book is like, this film needed to be more violent, which is always a good thing. The acting was better at least, and the film was really really funny in places. So that coupled with an enjoyably large amount of Rupert Grint in this film made it okay. Definitely see it if you're a Potter fan, but don't try and convert someone who isn't with it, they'll think you're an idiot liking a film with no beginning or end.

Day 25

Still very little going on I'm afraid. I put up the tent and dried it out, then took it down and utilized some MAD SKILLZ in getting it, it's poles AND the pegs all back in the bag it came in. BOO-YA!

I also spent a lot of time sitting in the conservatory looking at the garden, much like a crazy old woman. I was thinking I'd love to get a cat the other day too....

I just watched Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Being a girl I am required to like this film, and it was good. I am now, however, very annoyed about boys, because you're all RUBBISH and I never know what you want me to do to make it as blindingly obvious what I want, and you never make it clear what you want, BAH!

Days 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24

Day 20

I came home today! Winona and I are hanging out with my parents, fun fun fun! :)

Have a somewhat crap photo or my room (Come oooonnn, I was tired!)

Winona was really good on the train too in her little box. Was asleep by Bridgend and pretty much didn't wake up again till I put her in her cage here! I'd started to worry she'd died from the stress. On a vaguely related note, thanks Sven for putting up with me being a rubbish whiney girl type and helping me, you're lovely!

Day 21

Preparations for 2000 Trees begins! People arrive, bags are packed, the weather turns...

Amongst all this excitement I make up some time with my cacti, who are all doing worryingly well having been re-potted recently by mum, they'll take the place over soon.

I make no apologies for being childish.

Day 22

2000 Trees!! wooooo! Up stupidly early and off for some beer, bands, buds and ..... photos. The weather is shite, but not so bad as to make it unbearable, the food is amazing, and I'm having lots of fun not being all sad and alone. Particularly enjoied Crazy Arm, Amplifier, The King Blues, Big Blue Sun and having a picture from last year in the program this year. Not so enjoyable was Rolo Tomassi, Fightstar, not being in the mood for the Headphone Disco, and....

 

... too many photographers! Jesus christ! I hardly took any, which is a shame, but I just felt so unnecessary. I took this while abusing my back-stage privileges and sitting on the inside of the barrier to watch The King Blues. 

Day 23

Day Two of festival and it's HELLO SUNSHINE! Woohoo! Lovely lovely, wandering about listening to a few bands, eating some pie from Pie Minister. Pie Minister are awesome, if you ever come across one of their shops or stalls, buy a pie, get mash and gravy too, amazing! I thought I like Pie Minister pie, but apparently Geoff loves it even more than I do!

Particularly enjoyed Oxygen Thief, Jim Lockey & the Solemn Son, Aspen Sails, Imperial Leisure, Dananananaykroyd (I was playing the 'snappy media way to sum them up' game in my head and got 'Cheerful Noise-mongering Scamps', come on NME, you know you want me), and Napoleon IIIrd, and most defiantly the time filling interlude from the Leaf Lounge Stage Manager.

Day 24

Get all packed and the tend down just in time for it to start shitting it with rain, skillz. Sorry to anyone who went to the welsh food place for a breakfast buttie after me, I had the last of the bread, muhahahaha! Got home nice and early before the shite weather set in.

The sunburn came up properly today, got some mad tan lines that include ones from my necklace, my glasses, and I've even burnt my fingers. Unprotected sunshine is BAD. The most strange to have to explain whenever i wear a skirt over the next few weeks is this:

Wellies, long socks, and leggns did this. Wear sun creme kids, this hurts, as does my face, and my finger.

Day 19

Was going to be a pleasing interlude of some pictures of Winona anyway, so you've not missed much. I'm gonna have loooooaaaaads of pics from 2000 Trees after this weekend, so I hope that will make up for it.

Day 18

Did quite a lot today. didn't leave the flat, have a wash, or get dressed though, so I'm still a disgusting failure of a human being. I watched the rest of Diary if the Dead (I'm getting better, this one was only 2 sittings), it was a bit shit, but the bonus disc was quite interesting, almost made up for it.

I then made two, yes TWO stews because the veg I had was going a bit funky (funky veggies, teehee). Think I've sorted out the issues with the recipe for what is Stew 2 here (the one closer). It usually has sausages in, but I'm not eating meat, so Quorn it is, all you need to do is whack in a MASSIVE LUMP OF BUTTER to make up for all the fat that comes out of sausages, haha.

yum! I'm serious, it's tasty.

I also cleaned out all of Winona's cage, she went a bit bonkers as she tends to whenever the opportunity arises.

Clean out Sharpey tomorrow and pack for Festival, woohoo!

Day 13 & 14

Ahh what, last 'night' was mad! Ended 6am with me taking photos of the bin men because they were waving at us! But I've had some yoghurt and a Bueno, and I'm feeling okay now.

Day 13:
This shit makes me happy! I know it's kinda lame, but what with the kerfuffle about my not being paid and generally being lazy and poor, having a fridge full of food that's not rotting is one of the best things ever.

Day 14:

I was putting some CDs away in my book thing, and I can't help but think, shit man, this is a mad array of stuff. This page kinda sums it up really, and to add another layer of eclectic-ness I was listening to something Hospital Records (can't remember what exactly). I hate answering the 'what kind of music are you in to' question, people would get bored of me before I could properly finish answering it!

Another thing that I could help but notice was that ALL my stuff is in dire need of alphabetizing....

Day 12

Sorry for a lack of 'Day 11' I was away from my computer (still am) and I didn't take a photo. I'll do something extra another day, I've got something planned I think. What I did do that day was some food shopping and went to see 'Public Enimies' with Sven. Good film! So as you can see, a lack of photographic potential anyway.

Today was spent sitting about Sven's house doing very little. Eating his food, loling at Fail Blog. How exciting is my life eh! I'll upload today's picture tomorrow, because as I said, I'm not at my computer and this one has no image editing software and it'll take FOREVER to upload the RAW file. I'll spare you the overly techey detailed explanation of this.

Day 10

After very little sleep (see 'Day 9') I went off to Oakwood with Ericca. I was very excited, prepared for childish glee at something a bit crap. But, it's pretty good, and not that expensive, woohoo! I did, however, rain. lots of rain, big drops. This combined with a water ride that WILL get you wet, made us very VERY soggy.

Got back and got in the shower, have pretty much just been wrapped up in my duvet watching the telly. I'm really rather tired, I appear to have lost the ability of speach. Hope the weather is a bit better tomorrow, here's a photo.

Lame injuries time! I walked in to a drip tray at work (I work in a pub) and it bloody hurt! It's also totally so much worse than this makes it look like it is, it's all swollen and that! Sympathy? No?! Come oooonnnn. Fine then.

Sven got back from Glasto today, yay! I can wash my clothes now!

Day 7

Super mega bumper photo edition!

Geoff, Jess and Owen left halls today to move their stuff in to 'The House'. We're all gone! Sad times (for details of this, see the post from the other day). Belongings in the corridor :(

The shop near 'The House' sells all sorts of strange things, coke and relentless in glass bottles, they also had 440ml cans of Tango. I saw this and thought 'I'm on that!' The bloke in the shop pointed out this amusing acronym....

And finally! Nice Chinese for dinner. I LOVE banana fritters!
The weather was a bit pants today, but it was nice for it not to be so hot.

Day 6

Fail! I know I didn't do a blog or photo yesterday, I know I suck. We went to go and see Transformers (because apparently Ice Age 3 or The Hangover wasn't good enough, PAH!). It was.... funny. The plot was thin, but not so thin that it was horrible. I really want to sit here and slag it off, but it was a pretty okay action film, and it was pretty similar in quality to Star Trek, which I LOVED because it's Star Trek, maybe if I was a Transformers fan then i would have liked this. Two things about it though:

1) Everything any of the Auto-bots said had me laughing my ass off, and more often then not for the wrong reason, Prime's speech at the end a great example of this. and that inexplicably 'British' one (not the old one, the other one)! At one point he said something very American (like 'I'm gonna tear your ass apart' but maybe less gay) which was simultaneously hilarious and a bit offensive to me as an English person.

2) And could they not keep the camera still when two people had a conversation? STOP SPINNING! I FEEL SICK!

The acting was really quite good though, which I think is what kept it together, I was surprised.

I'd write more, but it's early in the day, so sod it.
